Ongoing Initiatives
RO Plant Repair & Upgrade
Major repair and expansion program installing new high-capacity RO units alongside rehabilitation of existing equipment. Upon completion, total treatment capacity will be significantly increased.
Distribution Network Expansion
Actively extending our piped distribution network into new areas of the city, including main trunk pipelines, secondary distribution lines, and household connection branches.
Borehole Rehabilitation
Rehabilitating and upgrading existing boreholes to ensure a reliable and sufficient supply of source water to our treatment plant, including modern pumping equipment.
Solar Energy Integration
Pilot projects underway to integrate solar-powered pumping at key borehole sites, reducing energy costs and improving the sustainability of our operations.
Future Plans
100% Household Coverage
Systematic extension of our distribution infrastructure across all neighborhoods, including newly developing areas on the city’s periphery.
New Borehole Development
Geological surveys have identified promising aquifer zones with better water quality. We plan to develop new boreholes to diversify our source water supply.
Storage Expansion
Additional elevated storage reservoirs at strategic locations to improve supply reliability and ensure consistent water pressure during peak demand.
Advanced Solar Treatment
Evaluating energy-efficient RO technologies including variable-frequency solar-powered systems to significantly reduce operational costs.
